How do I set-up my new Guard GPS Tracker?

You will receive account set up details with your purchased device. Once you have set up your account you will need to log in to your account. To the left, under the registered tracker/sticker there is a green +. Click on this and fill out the registration form.

Which set-up should I choose?

When you buy a GPS Tracker, you need to choose a set-up. Click here to read a description of the different set-ups.

How do I activate my GPS Tracker?

When you have created an account, added your tracker and paid for a subscription, then the tracker needs to be shaken with a firm and continuous motion for 5 seconds, in order to start the activating procedure (make sure to wait until the subscription has been paid before shaking it, otherwise you will need to wait 60 minutes before activating it again). The procedure takes about 10-20 minutes, but can vary according to the GPS connection and GSM signal. We recommend that you put your tracker on a window ledge or place it outside during the activation process to make sure that it can establish a connection. When the activation process is complete you should receive a position on our account and the tracker will then be in standard SLEEP MODE. At the same time you will receive a confirmation e-mail about the activation.

How do I put my GPS Tracker in LIVE MODE?

We recommend that you change to MODE on the APP 5 minutes after setting your object up with the Smart Phone APP in the toolbox section. Click on the tracker you would like to set to LIVE MODE. After this you click on the LIVE button to start the activation. As soon as you receive a new position on the tracker switch to LIVE MODE and then you will receive an e-mail that confirms that LIVE MODE is now active.

How do I put my GPS Tracker in GEOFENCE MODE?

We recommend that you change to MODE on the APP 5 minutes after setting up your object with the Smart Phone APP in the toolbox.Click on the tracker you would like to put in GEOFENCE MODE. After this you click on the GEOFENCE button and choose a distance for your GEOFENCE to start the activation. As soon as a new position is received (it will be the center point for your GEOFENCE) it will start the GEOFENCE MODE and you will receive an e-mail that confirms that GEOFENCE MODE is now active.

How do I set up GPS Tracker in ALARM MODE?

Under the APP section in the toolbox, click on the tracker you would like to set to ALARM MODE. After this you click on the ALARM button to report it as stolen in our system (enter Password and click OK). You will receive an e-mail which confirms that ALARM MODE has now been activated.
