How it works

Once you have activated the GPS Tracker the unit sends the current GPS location via the GSM network to the hosted application.

The GPS tracking solution combine sophisticated GPS tracking technology with easy to use mapping and reporting software. A GPS tracking device is installed to the asset you wish to protectto collect and transmit tracking data via a cellular network.

The device then delivers the data to the hosted application, which you can access through the web or by a mobile app on you smart phone at any time. You receive tracking updates on the location unit.

Tracking Options:

  • SLEEP MODE - Your GPS Tracker is generally in SLEEP MODE. When it detects a movement, then it will go into its programed tracking mode (LIVE, GEOFENCE or ALARM). When the GPS position has been gathered and sent to your account and the tracker stops moving for 5 minutes it goes back to sleep mode to preserve battery life.
  • LIVE MODE - When your GPS Tracker is in LIVE MODE, it will track and download a GPS position every 5 minutes. When the tracker has stopped moving for 5 minutes, then it will go back into SLEEP MODE until it is moved again. Remember that LIVE MODE uses more power while it is moving than in SLEEP MODE which will have effect on its lifetime.
  • GEOFENCE MODE–works similarly to LIVE MODE. In the event that a position has been sent to your account, which is outside of your chosen GEOFENCE area, you will receive an e-mail notification and a notification on your smart phone app about the movement of the GPS Tracker. Remember that GEOFENCE MODE uses more battery during movement than in SLEEP MODE which will have an effect on the battery lifetime.
  • ALARM MODE–This modeis used when the GPS tracker has been stolen and functions just like LIVE MODE but includes an e-mail and smart phone app notification for every GPS position that the tracker sends.
